With over twenty years of experience as a journalist and marketing professional, Andrea J. Stenberg has worked for large corporations, small businesses, non-profit organizations and magazines.
Throughout her career, Andrea has always enjoyed and excelled in situations where she could put her writing skills to good use, even when her job title didn’t say ‘writer’.
Whether it was creating a brochure, writing a proposal or revamping a website, Andrea’s words have made a difference for her customers and employers.
In 2005 Andrea became an entrepreneur. As a full-time freelance commercial writer, Andrea enjoys working at what she does best. Her customers are businesses that want crisp, straightforward copy that speaks to their audiences. Andrea doesn’t care about flashy, hype-filled materials: she focuses on getting results for her customers.
In 2006 Andrea began passing on her knowledge and experience to others when she accepted a part-time teaching position at Georgian College in Owen Sound. “Although writing will always be my first love, I really enjoy working with students to help them improve their writing skills.
Andrea began running a series of workshops and courses on social media marketing and the Law of Attraction in 2007. She runs live workshops in Owen Sound and the surrounding areas as well as offering teleseminars and webinars to allow people who don’t wish to travel to this beautiful part of the world. In 2010 Andrea was excited to be named the Owen Sound Chamber of Commerce SOHO Business of the Year.

Andrea has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph in Canadian History. She has studied journalism at Ryerson Polytechnical University and Conestoga College. She continually upgrades her skills by participating in workshops, seminars and courses on copywriting, marketing, sales and advertising.
